The filter tank is made of layered sand, finely divided garnet or
other materials as the bed. The top layer of the bed is composed of
coarse-grade materials, and the heavy and fine-grade materials are
placed at the bottom of the bed. The principle is to filter by
depth-the larger particles in the water are removed in the top
layer, and the smaller particles are removed in the deeper part of
the filter medium. So that the water quality reaches the standard
after coarse filtration.

The multi-media filter can remove large suspended particles in the
water, thereby reducing the SDI value of the water and meeting the
water quality requirements for deep purification. The equipment has

Multi-media filters are widely used in water treatment processes,

used for surface water and groundwater desilting.
Multi-media filters can be divided into manual type and fully
automatic type according to the control type. The manual type
mainly controls the operation, forward washing, and backwashing of
the filter through the adjustment of the valve; while the automatic
type controls the operation of the filter, forward washing,
backwashing and other states through the FLECK controller,
according to the tank body The materials can be divided into glass
steel tanks, carbon steel tanks, and stainless steel tanks. The
inner wall of the tank can be coated with epoxy coating or lined
with rubber for anti-corrosion according to user requirements.
